Bend Sinister

One of the more musical shows on 2MBS in the late 80s, Bend Sinister presented industrial and hard edged experimental music of a more aggressive and dark nature. I was lucky enough to capture a few shows before DJ Alex Karinsky was summarily ousted. Rumor has it that when he played a piece with the repeated refrain "fat whore" one of the directors of the radio station thought it was aimed at her and demanded he be fired. I believe he went onto better things as a DJ in New York. At any rate, while it lasted it was an excellent show.
